Zichan Yang, a distinguished Chinese-Canadian guzheng and guqin artist, is internationally celebrated for her remarkable artistry and mesmerizing stage presence. Educator and Mentor
In 2004, Ms. Yang founded the Zichan International Arts School in Ottawa, where she has nurtured countless talented musicians. She currently lectures in the Music Performance Department at Carleton University and has been invited to teach Chinese classical music at prestigious institutions, including Queen’s University. Her commitment to education has earned her recognition as a “Champion Mentor” and First Prize Mentor for her students’ exceptional achievements.

She has performed at prestigious venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Vienna’s Golden Hall, where she also served as a special guest adjudicator and lecturer for the Mozart International Music Festival.
