Lucie Liu, an accomplished yangqin virtuoso and educator, holds a master’s degree from the Nanjing University of the Arts, where she specialized in yangqin performance and studied music education, piano, and Chinese music aesthetics. With exceptional performance skills, extensive stage experience, and a solid foundation in music theory, Lucie has dedicated her life to both the art and education of music.

刘璇女士是扬琴领域的资深演奏家与教育家，2009年毕业于南京艺术学院音乐学院硕士研究生班，专攻扬琴演奏，同时学习音乐教育、钢琴及中国音乐美学。她以精湛的演奏技巧、丰富的舞台经验和扎实的音乐理论造诣，在音乐艺术领域享有盛誉。

A Versatile Performer
Lucie served as a guest principal yangqin performer for the Nanjing Folk Orchestra for over a decade, while also excelling as a Chinese percussionist. She founded the "Miao Ling Rui Yin" Women’s Folk Ensemble, performing hundreds of concerts annually. In 2006, she represented China at the International Arts Festival in North Korea, where her ensemble won the Gold Prize in the instrumental category.

卓越的演奏生涯
刘璇曾任南京市民族乐团特聘客席扬琴首席，并在中国从事打击乐器演奏十余年。她创立了“妙灵·瑞音”女子民族乐队，每年演出数百场。2006年，她随中国艺术团参加朝鲜国际艺术节，并荣获器乐类节目金奖。

Dedicated Educator
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Lucie has taught yangqin and piano to students of all levels, consistently achieving excellent results in music examinations. Her students have earned numerous accolades in provincial, national, and international competitions. Recognized for her teaching excellence, she received the “Outstanding Instructor” award in national youth instrumental competitions in 2009 and 2010, organized by the Ministry of Culture and other cultural education bodies.

作为扬琴和钢琴教师，刘璇拥有二十余年的教学经验，她的学生在乐器考级中多次获得优异成绩，并在省、市及国家级比赛中屡获佳绩。2009年和2010年，她连续荣获由文化部等国家级文化与教育单位共同主办的青少年器乐大赛“优秀指导老师”称号。

Promoting Yangqin Abroad
After immigrating to Montreal, Canada, in 2012, Lucie established Xuan’ Studio, dedicated to yangqin education, promotion, and cultural exchange. From 2013 to 2020, she served as the Artistic Director of the Huaxing Phoenix Arts Troupe’s Folk Orchestra. Her students continue to excel in international music festivals, competitions, and Central Conservatory of Music certification exams, demonstrating her commitment to fostering talent and advancing yangqin's global recognition.

扬琴的国际化推广
2012年移民加拿大蒙特利尔后，刘璇创建了Xuan’ Studio，专注于扬琴的教学与推广。2013年至2020年，她担任华星凤凰艺术团民乐团艺术总监。在她的指导下，海外学生在中央音乐学院考级和国际音乐节的比赛中屡获佳绩，为扬琴艺术的国际化发展作出了重要贡献。
