叶兰
青年琵琶演奏家，中国民族管弦乐学会普及民族音乐艺术委员会会员，加拿大蘭亭叙琵琶教育中心创始人，毕业于山西大学音乐学院琵琶专业。
2015年获得加拿大“新风采创业-艺术类最受欢迎的新风采人物”奖。原创音乐代表作品：《兰语》 ，《初心》 。
2023年10月15日成功举办了“兰语初心-叶兰琵琶独奏音乐会”。
2024年11月23日成功举办了“兰语初心—燃情国乐琵琶专场音乐会”
作为中国民族器乐演奏家应邀参加印度宝莱坞电影100周年的庆典活动；曾在美国纽约Lincoln Center，多伦多Sony Centre、CBC加拿大广播中心音乐厅、Toronto Centrefor the arts，等音乐厅演出。
叶兰不仅在琵琶演奏上颇有建树和影响力，同时在琵琶音乐教育以及国乐推广方面也硕果累累，她一直致力于在海外推广中国民族音乐，不断创新琵琶音乐，积极培养海外民族音乐人才。2012年成立了加拿大蘭亭叙-琵琶教育中心，2021年成立了加拿大蘭亭叙琵琶室内乐和蘭亭叙芳华琵琶室内乐，多次参加各种社区表演和慈善义演，培养了很多海外国乐新苗。
Lan Ye is a virtuoso Pipa musician known for her technical mastery and emotive performances. She was born and raised in China, where she began her musical studies at a young age. After discovering her passion for the Pipa, she dedicated herself to mastering this traditional Chinese instrument, and quickly gained recognition for her skill and artistry. She is a member of the National Music & Arts Development Committee affiliated with China Nationalities Orchestra Society.
Lan Ye graduated from the Music College of Shanxi University and has performed extensively both in China and abroad. She has won numerous awards and accolades for her performances, including New Style Entrepreneurship - Most Popular New Style Figure in the Arts Category award in Canada in 2015. She successfully held True Heart--The Story of Lan, Ye Lan Pipa Concert in 2023 and True Heart – The Story of Lan, Vibrant Classical Pipa in 2024. She regularly performs as a soloist at local and regional concerts and festivals. She also has been invited to perform at various occasions including The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal celebration, The 100th Anniversary of Indian Bollywood Movie, The Mid-Autumn Festival Gala in Parliament Hill and for the current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She has been praised for her ability to create music that is both technically impressive and emotionally compelling.
In addition to her work as a performer, Lan Ye is also a dedicated educator and Scultural ambassador. She is an instructor at the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto. She also founded both Lantingxu Pipa Education and Lantingxu Pipa Chamber Music. She teaches Pipa to students of all ages and skill levels and has conducted workshops and lectures on the history and significance of the Pipa in Chinese culture.
Lan Ye is passionate about sharing the beauty and power of the Pipa with audiences around the world and is committed to preserving and promoting Pipa and Chinese folk music overseas. Whether she is performing traditional Chinese pieces or exploring contemporary musical styles, she is always striving to push the boundaries of what is possible with this instrument.
